Great read and kept my interest。 Can’t wait for the next book。
Anne Walters,
Action packed!Bobby Akart has the ability to draw the reader into his novels。 He offers interesting characters which always include strong, likable women。 While fiction, what he writes offers the readers plausible possibilities and a great stories。

Heart Pounding! Read the last three chapters on the third night。 The rest of the book was split between two nights, stopping only when my eyes blurred from strain, tears, or adrenaline!Mr。 Akart's "Nuclear Winter" series is as plausible, realistic, and frightening as today's headlines, with characters who steal your heart and others who deserve whatever happens to them! Not sure how you do it Mr。 Akart, but I'm sure glad you do it so well! Can hardly wait for the last book in this nail-biter。。。a Heart Pounding! Nuclear Winter 3Another amazing book from author Bobby Akart! I did pick up his Easter eggs that he likes to include in his books。 At one point, I did shed a few tears。。。。thanks for that, by the way! I love the characters in this story with the exception of a few, like Patrick/Patricia and Mayor Free。 Even the President needs replacing。。。sound familiar, right? This is a fantastic series and you all need to read it!
Mike Smallsman,
What a major works!Books 1 - 3 tell us that it would be better to be vaporised。Surviving gives two thirds of us up to a dozen years of hell and a slow death。Only here in Australia and NZ would there likely be food but of course everyone would want it。U。N should make this mandatory reading for all politicians。Good luck with that。Nuclear war。 The human decent into depravity。
Coralee Malinich,
Outstanding and exciting Like anything of Mr。 Akart’s, we are treated to fine writing, breath holding terror and an ache for more! He has managed to be different from others in the dystopian genre so the story is unique and consistently interesting。 Highly recommended even if you’re not a fan of the genre!

Highly IntenseWell written。 Intense action。 Great characters。 I enjoyed this book as well as the previous books in this series very much。
Pam Shelton-Anderson,
I waffled between 3 and 4, but liked the story enough to go with 4。 There were just a few editing issues ("They began their work on the patient but not before they had to encourage remove Sheriff Mobley and his two deputies to leave the room")。 My main issues were with some parts of the plot。 I like that the Colorado town is full of nice people that are kind and generous, but I do question whether in light of nuclear attack, nuclear winter and no assurance of resupply they would be so generous t I waffled between 3 and 4, but liked the story enough to go with 4。 There were just a few editing issues ("They began their work on the patient but not before they had to encourage remove Sheriff Mobley and his two deputies to leave the room")。 My main issues were with some parts of the plot。 I like that the Colorado town is full of nice people that are kind and generous, but I do question whether in light of nuclear attack, nuclear winter and no assurance of resupply they would be so generous to Lacey and Tucker。 If they were this nice to everyone stranded there, it would not be a good reallocation of resource for the town。 I'm also bothered by the government/President。 I can't see that no other country would try to help, for one thing。 And the president is going to expend a lot of resources to subdue the Florida keys because they are cheeky? There is no way that they could become a bread basket to America。 You need to find other areas to expend those resources。 Again, authors need to stop with touting the robust Texas grid since last winter should have put that myth to bed。 My biggest issue is with the serial killer/Patrick story。 The real tension in Driftwood key should be the mayor and city authorities trying to strong arm the citizens out of their resources, but it took a big backseat (clear into the trunk) behind the serial killer。 That not only added nothing to the story and took valuable plot away。 It was almost enough to go with a three。 Almost。 。。。more

Michael Annis,
Cracking read。Loved this next instalment of the series。 Once the main event is over it does seem to follow similar plot lines to the author’s other series but still enjoyable。 Goo well drawn characters with a serial killer thrown in。 My only gripe is that the novels are too short。
Bettelou,
It was as usual a very good read EXCEPT for the serial killer subplot。 I thought it was very unnecessary and detracted from the main story lines。
Cherye Elliott,
Hmmm。 Don't hate meI have been a fan of Bobby Akart since his second book。 I think the premise of this book is great。 But throw in a serial killer into a apocalyptic book was strange。 Something else。 Tucker and Lacey and the town they were in。 During a major freeze and people are leaving their homes for a warmer place, this town fixes their car, fills up the car with gas a picnic basket with food and send them on their way。 Seriously? I felt like the book was too busy。 The characters were going Hmmm。 Don't hate meI have been a fan of Bobby Akart since his second book。 I think the premise of this book is great。 But throw in a serial killer into a apocalyptic book was strange。 Something else。 Tucker and Lacey and the town they were in。 During a major freeze and people are leaving their homes for a warmer place, this town fixes their car, fills up the car with gas a picnic basket with food and send them on their way。 Seriously? Another Bobby Akart winner。 The twists and turns are breathtaking。 One can not help but feel the pain the characters experience as the adventure continues。Bobby leaves you in mid air as everything comes close to an ending, then。。。Great Job Bobby。 Keep going on the next addition to the adventure。

Nuclear Winter Whiteout。 Bobby AkartAfter the nuclear attack by North Korea upon America, survival hinges upon who is willing to survive and engage in whatever tactic necessary to achieve this。 This series centers on the Albright family from the Florida keys and their family members struggling to return home。 What separates this family from most is their strong family bonding and not having to depend on others to survive。 Corruption on a large scale is occurring throughout America by opportunist Nuclear Winter Whiteout。 Bobby AkartAfter the nuclear attack by North Korea upon America, survival hinges upon who is willing to survive and engage in whatever tactic necessary to achieve this。 This series centers on the Albright family from the Florida keys and their family members struggling to return home。 What separates this family from most is their strong family bonding and not having to depend on others to survive。 Corruption on a large scale is occurring throughout America by opportunistic politicians, mayors taking advantage of the martial law being enforced by POTUS。 Even his power is not absolute。 Their are also good honest people willing to help others。 This is an epic read。 Unfortunately a scenario that could occur。 My highest recommendation! 。。。more

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Nuclear Winter 3 is the most fan anticipated book by Bobby Akart so far and he did not disappoint! Right from the start, your heart will be in your throat, choking you as you try to catch your breath and still your racing heartbeat! If you have read books one and two (and you really should before heading into book 3) you know the action never let up but guess what? Triple that! Yes, Bobby outdoes himself with the gripping scenes that had me putting the book down and walking away until I had my emotions under control。 That may sound foolish to some but when an author can pull you into a book, make you feel what the characters are feeling and have your emotions at a high level then you KNOW he is one damn fine author! With the country falling apart faster than anticipated by those in the government, the people that have are expected to help out those who were unprepared and have nothing。 The president and his cabinet are locked away in a safe place and aren’t listening to those who don’t agree with them, even though they are right。 Talk about having your own agenda! Let’s hope that pans out OK in the future because as of right now, the American people are on their own with no hope of any help in sight。 Not even foreign countries are stepping up to lend aid。 So much for the old saying…I’ll wash your back if you wash mine。 But I digress here… The whole point of a review is to let you know if I liked or disliked this book and why。 Well, I LOVED it! This series is a very realistic story line that could and might very well happen and not in the distant future if you read the news。 Nuclear war threats have been happening for a very long time and back in the day, people prepped for such a thing during the Cold War。 Fallout shelters stocked with rations were a very common thing, but they have fallen by the wayside as many things do。 We no longer are concerned as much about canning vegetables and stocking things that “might” be needed because there are grocery stores and a drug store on every corner。 But as I have learned from this author, we must be prepared for the possibility of not being able to run the store for necessities。 Two is one and one is none。 Thank you once again Bobby, for an amazing story that had me at the first page, left me emotionally spent and numb。 I am looking forward to the next books with high anticipation! 。。。more
